Targeted: $300 Bonus On The New SimplyCash® Plus Business Card

SimplyCash Plus Business Card

Amex Simply CashPlus
I just received a targeted offer on the new SimplyCash Plus Business Card by American Express.  It’s targeted because it gave me an RSVP code.  The bonus on the card is $300 after spending $3000 within the first 3 months of membership.

Can you see the offer?

When I clicked on the offer from my email, it had an rsvp code in the url.  When I removed my rsvp code, I could still see the offer but could not apply for it.

Here’s the visible offer, although you may not be able to apply from it:

Highlights of the card

  • No annual fee
  • 5% cashback at U.S. office supply stores and on wireless telephone services purchased directly from US service providers
  • 3% cashback from a category of your choice including:
    • US gas stations
    • US restaurants
    • US purchases for advertising in select media
    • US purchases for shipping
    • Airfare purchased directly from airlines
    • Hotel rooms purchased directly from airlines
    • Car rental purchased from select companies
    • US computer hardware, software, and cloud computing purchases made directly from select providers.
  • 5% and 3% apply to the first $50,000 in purchases per calendar year, then 1% applies thereafter

This offer is definitely worth it

This card is essentially identical to one of the best no fee business cards: the SimplyCash card from Amex.  That card allowed the 5% and 3% to apply to the first $25,000 in purchases.  The new SimplyCash Plus doubles that limit to $50,000.

The only other notable difference is that the new SimplyCash allows you to purchase above your credit limit, although they expect you to pay the amount in full.  So, it gives you the ability to spend like a charge card, but you must pay in full each month like a credit card.

Regardless, even if you are not targeted for it, at least we know the signup bonus.  Keep a lookout.  This is a really good offer on a no fee business card.
